About the Role
Our clients are seeking to appoint a skilled and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join a brand-new international boarding school opening in Northern Italy in 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a vibrant learning community, committed to delivering the highest standards of academic and pastoral care.

The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, a record of raising attainment, and a passion for inspiring students in mathematics. You will play a central role in developing curriculum and assessment, while creating engaging lessons that foster problem-solving, logical thinking, and confidence in numeracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics teaching across secondary levels.

  • Support curriculum planning and contribute to assessment design.

  • Develop inclusive and innovative learning experiences that motivate students.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life.

  • Provide pastoral support, including occasional out-of-hours supervision of boarders.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with at least two years experience.

  • Proven track record of raising student achievement.

  • Strong knowledge of British Key Stage 3/GCSE and/or A Levels/IB Diploma.

  • High expectations of behaviour and academic standards.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for teaching young people and supporting their overall development.

  • Ability to adapt EAL strategies within the subject area.

Desirable

  • Willingness to take on specific boarding duties (allowances available).

  • Ability to teach an additional subject.

  • Coaching or outdoor pursuits qualifications/interests.
