About the Role
Our clients are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Physical Education to join a new international boarding school opening in 2026 in Northern Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in sports and outdoor pursuits while shaping the PE curriculum in a vibrant and multicultural environment.

The successful candidate will foster teamwork, individual skill development, and a love of physical activity across the school community. You will also play a key role in extra-curricular sport, supporting boarding life, and encouraging students to develop resilience, discipline, and enthusiasm for healthy living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3, GCSE, and A-Level/IB.

  • Develop inclusive and engaging PE lessons that inspire participation and performance.

  • Lead extra-curricular sports, fitness, and outdoor activities.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including occasional evening/boarding duties.

  • Help shape and assess the PE curriculum in line with UK standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with at least two years experience.

  • Proven record of raising standards and engagement in PE.

  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of the British curriculum (Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level/IB).

  • Passion for student welfare and the development of the whole child.

Desirable

  • Ability to contribute to boarding responsibilities.

  • Willingness to teach an additional subject.

  • Coaching qualifications or outdoor pursuits experience.
