About the Role
Our clients are seeking an outstanding, dedicated, and committed Boarding Manager to join a new international boarding school opening in 2026. Located in Northern Italy, just 40 minutes from Milan Malpensa International Airport and between Lakes Como and Maggiore, this school will provide a vibrant and dynamic environment with a strong focus on student welfare.

The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a welcoming and supportive residential community, ensuring the highest standards of care for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision within the boarding environment.

• Support students personal development and well-being, including after-hours and weekend duties.

• Contribute to extra-curricular activities and pastoral initiatives.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and responsibility within the boarding community.

• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Essential Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a boarding role.

• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.

• Understanding of British boarding education.

• Ability to inspire, challenge, and support young people.

• Flexibility to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable

• Ability to teach or support academic programmes.

• Experience with EAL students.

• Coaching or outdoor pursuits qualifications/interests.
