Accounting Officer (Alabang | Hybrid Work Setup)

Career Opportunity: Accouting Officer for a renewable energy development and investment company.

Work Set-Up: Hybrid

Office Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa

Job Summary:

• Handle tasks and transactions related to intercompany accounts receivables, accounts payables, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Post transactions and ensure that they are properly recorded in the general ledger
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliation
• Prepare accrual for the recurring transactions and ensure timely expense recognition
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Handle statutory and tax payments and returns
• Provide support for both internal and external audit
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, or related field; CPA is preferred but not required
• At least three (3) years of experience working in general accounting with exposure in BOI (Board of Investment) or PEZA
• Preferably with a background in IT or in using ERP systems
