What will the Software Development Engineer in Test do?
You will be responsible for performing test automation and infrastructure development for CertiPath TrustSuite. The SDET will report to a Product Development Team Manager of the company and will work closely with the Scrum Master and Development team to ensure our product delivers the highest possible customer satisfaction in very challenging and demanding environments.



What does a typical day look like?

• Build and develop a high functioning test and QA program
• Propose and implement Test and QA methodologies that optimizes not only the resources available now but with an eye to similar growth year over year
• Engage in Automation of processes and solving problems
• Prioritize tasks across several simultaneous test efforts
• Build relationships to leverage corporate DevOps and Development assets
• Work with many different platforms and technologies to solve complex automation problems
• Seek creative solutions to overcome testing and QA challenges
• Proactively manage relationships with internal clients and software stakeholders
• Take corrective action as necessary to ensure the success of assigned tasks
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology,
• Facilitate consensus building and resolution of complex technical issues
• Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences,
• Performs full-lifecycle (i.e., Concept to Deployment) Quality Assurance (QA) analyses to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical constraints
• Perform requirements analysis, tracing, and planning,
• Test case development, execution, troubleshooting, data analysis, and defect results reporting
• Define, create, and manipulate test data within databases
• Performs QA analysis of system and software development process requirements, formal verification and qualification, and systems integration
• Define, design, and document the organization's quality process and programfor delivery of complex systems.
• Advocate productivity improvements for greater effectiveness and efficiency
• Solid experience in unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in solving challenging problems
• Experience designing, and creating automation frameworks
• Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing requirements

What does the growth potential look like?

What qualifications are they looking for?

• Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, IT or software engineering or in a related field
• 5 years of progressive work experience as Software Development Engineer in Test, or in a similar quality control/test engineer position
• Including experience building and designing test cases
• Experience in test framework design and development
• Experience building and maintaining automated test infrastructure and automation test harnesses
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, experience with test cases and automation via the use of REST APIs
• Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services
• Experience in Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience influencing software engineering best practices within a team, and experience with standard QA methodology and tools
• Within those five years of experience candidate must have at least two yearsexperience developing automation in a modern programming
• Language/environment/framework.
• Experience with SAAS application development and testing
