Storeperson , Winsford Head Office, £25,300 + Depending On Experience 

The Client:

Join our client, a leader in the temporary traffic management industry, where they pride ourselves on providing top-tier solutions to ensure road safety and efficiency. They are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Store person to manage their equipment and maintain the smooth operation of the Winsford Head Office depot.

The Responsibilities:

• Receive orders and prepare all traffic management equipment for hire, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
• Monitor and manage the daily rotation of battery usage for equipment.
• Process both on-hire and off-hire returns into the depot, maintaining accurate records.
• Service and maintain hire equipment, including traffic lights, VMS (Variable Message Signs), CCTV, and trailers, ensuring everything is in working condition.
• Oversee the internal tagging system to track and manage product inventory.
• Record and report any damages during off-hire, ensuring they are dealt with promptly.
• Keep the yard and depot organised, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Ensure all daily depot tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Conduct weekly stock control checks, maintaining accurate records of all equipment and supplies.
• Manage the depot stock room, checking deliveries and ensuring essential supplies are readily available.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
