Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience) + £5,000 out-of-hours payments

Role Summary:

Join our team as a Commissioning Engineer working with the UK's largest fleet of semi-permanent traffic systems. Ensure the correct installation and functionality of traffic control systems, collaborating with local authorities. This dynamic role involves travel, occasional weekend work, and provides a company van with a fuel card.

Responsibilities:

  • Commission installation of Traffic Control systems, coordinating with local authorities.
  • Review and test controller configuration documents to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist with signal and cable repairs.
  • Support site meetings, inspections, and CCTV inquiries.

Experience:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with commissioning products is desirable
  • Understanding of electrical systems is essential!
  • Valid driving license.
  • Experience in Site Acceptance Tests and controller specifications.
  • Technical competence in fault finding, wiring, and electronics.

Additional Information:

  • Varying hours may include day, night, and occasional weekend work.
  • Flexibility is crucial, as each day can differ significantly from the last.
