The Role:

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be accountable for recruitment delivery and attraction for operational and management hires. You will lead the Talent Acquisition Team to deliver a best-in-class recruitment service to meet our business growth needs. Collaborating with hiring managers and the HR team, you will identify talent needs, design recruitment processes, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Your role will be instrumental in driving talent acquisition initiatives, optimising recruitment efforts, and co-creating new best practices as our organisation continues to grow.

The Requirements:

  • Education/Qualifications:
  • 5 GCSEs Grade C and above
  • 3 A Levels Grade C and above
  • Degree qualified, preferably in an HR discipline
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or a similar field

Core/Technical/Safety Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a recruitment role, with managerial responsibilities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and practices
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A full UK driving license

  • Confident, assertive, and proactive, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and forecasting for all roles to meet business growth requirements.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines.
  • Headhunt and build a database of potential candidates.
  • Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to align expectations.
  • Collaborate with the People & HR Director and senior leadership to support staffing requirements.
  • Report on recruitment trends and market conditions for workforce planning.
  • Partner with external providers to meet hiring needs.
  • Design, develop, and drive improved recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices.
  • Support and grow the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring they meet hiring benchmarks.
  • Enhance the overall onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Contribute to key HR project improvements and maintain management information and metrics.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging recruitment technologies.
