Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyors either Middle or Senior level to join there expanding team. £45,000 - £70,000 Depending on Experience

The Role

Based in South Manchester on-site, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

The salary is negotiable depending on the experience and level of clients & projects you have worked with

Our client is a private practice working across many sectors, including industrial, health, leisure, education and residential (social and developer) office fit-outs and listed building consultancy. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to join a team and grow.

Key responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have completed a degree, achieved MRICS qualification, and have experience working for a PQS firm.

• Experienced gained in:
• Feasibility studies
• Schedule of works
• Cost estimates
• Valuations
• JCT and NEC Contracts
• Production of tender documents
• Experience of running a variety of projects <£1million to multi millon pound projects is essential

Essential skills:

• 5 years pre and post QS contract experience
• Previous consultancy experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the project team and clients
• Responsible and able to work in a team and autonomously

Desirable:

• Employer agent experience

• Diverse sector experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Experience of JCT contracts
• Knowledge of MS project
• Knowledge of QS software ie Vector and Bluebeam
