Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organisational success through innovative sales strategies and market analysis. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of CRM software, experience with industrial doors and experience with Salesforce.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the organisation's market presence.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations to secure new contracts or partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business growth initiatives.
- Utilise CRM software, including Salesforce, to track leads, manage client information, and analyse sales data.
- Prepare detailed proposals, reports, and forecasts for senior management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the organisation's services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales within a relevant industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce; experience with other CRM tools is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
