We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager with a strong background in the Telecom domain to oversee the daily operations and ensure the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in telecom operations, process optimization, and team leadership to help drive business success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Principal Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain constant communication with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance protocols specifically suited to telecom operations.
- Streamline processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure projects and operational activities remain on schedule and within defined budgets.
- Forecast staffing needs and lead the recruitment of key operations personnel.
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional operational teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and telecom service standards.
- Track operational KPIs and ensure data-driven improvements to productivity, error reduction, and service excellence.
- Methods and implement various processes and checks to maintain the agreed system availability
- Achieve the overall agreed OLA/SLA
- Ensure there is no revenue loss in any of the system processes and deliverables
- Proactively perform the regular risk assessment and coordinate with customer/vendor for a mitigation plan
- Ensure and implement a proper Business Continuity Plan for the Operational systems with the alignment of customer
- Align and act to identify and fix any of the issues found by auditors as part of their system audit
- Work closely with customers Roadmap plan for the systems/Applications/software upgrade and patch update
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal frameworks, and safety standards relevant to the telecom sector.
- Prepare and present budget reviews, forecasts, and cost plans to executive leadership.
Education and Qualification
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Operations Management, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with telecom BSS/ESS/VAS systems and network operations workflows.
- Having experience in various Billing,Charging,CRM and Middleware systems
- Strong IT acumen, including database management and reporting.
- Financial reporting experience in telecom or technology environments.
- Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience
Special Skills
- 10+ years of experience in an Operations Management role within the Telecom industry
- Strong leadership and delegation capabilities with a track record of managing large, diverse teams.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and vendor management skills
- Demonstrated success in budget management, resource planning, and operational oversight
- Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English
