Responsible for providing Technical Support, maintenance, development, and troubleshooting for TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus, Layer7 API GW, Google APIGEE in Telecom operator environment
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Day to day operations and maintenance, Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO EMS, and TIBCO Active Matrix.
- Build and manage complex business workflows, orchestrating services across multiple systems and platforms.
- Implement data mapping, transformation, and validation rules to ensure seamless data exchange between disparate systems.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for TIBCO ESB, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of integration flows, applying tuning strategies as needed.
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools like TIBCO Hawk to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integration flows, service designs, and system configurations.
- Manage code deployment, version control, and release processes for TIBCO services in a controlled environment.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle, including design, creation, deployment, monitoring, and deprecation using tools like TIBCO Mashery, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway.
- Implement security best practices such as OAuth, JWT, API keys, and SSL/TLS to protect APIs and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Configure and manage API throttling, rate limiting, and traffic shaping policies to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Utilize API monitoring tools to track API performance, latency, and usage statistics, and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Implement error-handling mechanisms to ensure robust and reliable communication between APIs and external services.
- Manage API Developer Portals to facilitate external developer access, providing necessary documentation, SDKs, and support.
- Maintain API versioning strategies and ensure backward compatibility for various client applications.
- Implement automated deployment processes for APIs using continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Education and Qualification
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science / Application (or similar)
Training Required
- TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus, Layer7 API GW, Google APIGEE
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
Skills
- Strong experience with TIBCO Business Works, EMS, and Active Matrix.
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway tools such as TIBCO Mashery, Apigee, or API Gateway.
- Proficiency in service orchestration, workflow design, and integration patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of API security mechanisms, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API key management
- Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing ESB and API Gateway solutions for high availability and scalability.
- Experience setting up monitoring tools like TIBCO Hawk and API performance monitoring platforms.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating comprehensive documentation for services, APIs, and integration processes
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks for deploying and managing APIs and integration services.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration and API-related issues quickly.
- Good knowledge in database like MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres.
- Good Knowledge in Web technology SOAP, REST, POST, GET
- General Technical skill on Clustering, Load Balancing, Failover management, Monitoring tools, Packet capture tools
