As part of their commitment to quality and process optimization, our client is hiring a FMEA Engineer / PFMEA Moderator to strengthen their manufacturing excellence team. This role plays a pivotal part in proactively identifying and reducing process-related risks, ensuring robust quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional PFMEA sessions to identify and assess potential process risks.
  • Maintain and regularly update FMEA documentation to reflect current production processes.

  • Drive the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to mitigate process failures.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve process reliability and reduce defects.

  • Analyze defect trends and propose process improvements based on risk assessments.

  • Support the integration of PFMEA into APQP and continuous improvement projects.

  • Ensure compliance with AIAG/VDA FMEA standards and align FMEA outputs with control plans and work instructions.

  • Participate in internal and customer audits related to process risk evaluation.

  • Train engineers and production teams on FMEA methodologies and best practices.

  • Track and report action plans and key outcomes from PFMEA reviews.

Required Profile

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in process or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong expertise in PFMEA, DFMEA, and risk management tools.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a strong advantage.

  • Familiarity with quality standards such as APQP, PPAP, and Control Plans.

  • Proficient in FMEA software and statistical analysis tools (AIAG FMEA or equivalent).

  • Skilled in root cause analysis techniques: 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Fluency in English.
