Job Title: Hospitalist / Nocturnist
Location: Southeast Alabama

Position Overview:
A large and well-established hospital-employed group in Southeast Alabama is seeking Internal Medicine residency-trained physicians to join its expanding Hospitalist program. With over 30 full-time board-certified Hospitalists, this team plays a vital role in delivering inpatient care across a 420-bed regional referral center.

Position Options:

  • Hospitalist (Day Shift): 7 a.m. 7 p.m. | 7 on / 7 off schedule

  • Nocturnist: 7 p.m. 7 a.m. | 12 shifts per month | Flexible, personalized scheduling

  • Both roles supported by residents and sub specialists with no call responsibilities

Practice Highlights:

  • Provide care for unassigned ED admissions, hospital consults, and patient transfers

  • Co-manage ICU patients with 24/7 Pulm/Critical Care support no procedures required

  • Coverage of Clinical Decision Unit

  • Full-time in-house radiology coverage
