HealthOPM is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to support a long-term care facility in Hawkesbury. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or casual hours, we offer flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle.

Available Shifts:

  • Day: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

  • Evening: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

  • Night: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Assessment:

  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and monitor residents conditions

  • Develop and regularly update individualized care plans

  • Provide direct care, including medication administration, wound care, and treatments

Medication Administration & Education:

  • Safely administer medications and observe for any side effects

  • Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding medications

Resident Advocacy & Family Support:

  • Promote the emotional, physical, and social well-being of residents

  • Collaborate with families to help them understand and participate in care planning

Team Leadership & Compliance:

  • Provide guidance and supervision to nursing aides and support staff

  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and long-term care regulations

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

  • Complete necessary documentation including incident and progress reports

Qualifications

  • License: Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

  • Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is preferred

  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. A caring, resident-first attitude is essential.
