Available Shifts:

Day: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Evening: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Night: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Assessment:

Perform comprehensive health assessments and monitor residents conditions

Develop and regularly update individualized care plans
-
Provide direct care, including medication administration, wound care, and treatments
Medication Administration & Education:
-
Safely administer medications and observe for any side effects
-
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding medications
Resident Advocacy & Family Support:
-
Promote the emotional, physical, and social well-being of residents
-
Collaborate with families to help them understand and participate in care planning
Team Leadership & Compliance:
-
Provide guidance and supervision to nursing aides and support staff
-
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and long-term care regulations
Documentation & Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
-
Complete necessary documentation including incident and progress reports
Qualifications
-
License: Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is preferred
-
Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. A caring, resident-first attitude is essential.
