Job Title: Live-In Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Location: Burlington
Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM to Friday evening (Live-In)
Arrangement: Rotation between 2 PSWs (1 week on / 1 week off)
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for a live-in role supporting a client recovering from a stroke. This position requires a caring individual who can assist with daily living activities and provide a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including showering and hygiene support
• Provide light assistance with dressing
• Prepare meals and support basic cooking needs
• Offer companionship and ensure client safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment
• Follow care plans and communicate updates as needed

Client Needs

• Client is recovering from a stroke and requires moderate assistance
• Mobility support may be needed (details to be discussed)
• Two large dogs are present in the home (no pet care required, but comfort around dogs is essential)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Personal Support Worker
• Experience working with stroke recovery or similar conditions preferred
• Ability to cook and assist with meal preparation
• Comfortable working in a home with large dogs
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate
• Strong communication skills
