Your challenge
As an Electromechanical System Engineer within the Product Care team, you are responsible for structuring and driving the execution of engineering changes (CR/CN).
You ensure that changes are translated into a clear scope, planning, and deliverables, with full visibility on status, risks, and dependencies across disciplines. You act as the central point for the change flow, ensuring predictable delivery within agreed timelines.
This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, combined with planning skills and system-level understanding, to identify issues, manage dependencies, and ensure the right solutions are delivered on time. While not a primary design engineer, you are able to actively contribute to engineering work when needed to resolve issues and keep execution on track.
Your key responsibilities include:
End-to-end CR/CN ownership: prepare design approve release.
Facilitate & lead team planning and coordination, applying structured ways of working (e.g., agile principles such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) where relevant to the engineering context. Drive alignment on priorities, dependencies, and deliverables at system level.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance team efficiency, and remove impediments, taking ownership of improving how the team plans and executes work (backlog reduction, lead-time improvement, Audit-proof execution measurable KPI's).
CAD Tooling: You have experience using tools like Teamcenter, Eplan, SolidWorks or Siemens NX for reviews, system integration, and occasionally contribute to electromechanical design work, depending on project needs and personal strengths.
Stakeholder Alignment: Work with stakeholders to ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and align on scope and deliverables.
Product Improvement: Identify product improvement opportunities, driving innovations to enhance system quality and efficiency.
System Integration: Support integration of mechanical and electrical components to meet system-level requirements.
Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, production, quality assurance, and service teams.
Problem-Solving: Analyse and resolve system-level technical challenges.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to support implementation and feedback.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of cross-disciplinary engineering experience
- Proven experience in planning, coordination, or team facilitation in a technical environment (e.g. backlog management, CR/CN, or similar processes)
- Structured and detail-oriented mindset with strong focus on execution and follow-up.
- Experience in system-level engineering and coordination within multidisciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of CAD tools (Eplan, Siemens NX or SolidWorks) for reviews and alignment (not a primary design role)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Experience with Quality, testing, validation, and problem-solving methodologies (RCA / 8D/ A3) is a plus.
Bonus Points for: Agile & Project Management certification,
