Your Role:
As the Director of Sales, you'll have a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategies and fueling our growth. You'll lead a team of motivated professionals across Europe, including regional managers in key markets like Benelux, Nordics, Germany, UK, and France. Your expertise will also guide expansion into new European territories.
Your key responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, inspire, and guide our European sales team to achieve exceptional results. Shape their strategies and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Lead the Customer Service Team, including Inside Sales and Tender Management, ensuring exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Comprehensive Sales Management: Take charge of sales for Hardware, Software, and Services. Your strategic oversight will create holistic solutions for our diverse clientele.
- Profitability Focus: Drive the financial success of the business by developing and executing strategies that enhance profitability and sustainable growth.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with the Director of Partners and Segment Managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal outcomes across the organization.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Work in tandem with the Director of Strategy on Product and Marketing, defining and executing our go-to-market approach to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.
Your Qualities and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of establishing and managing partnerships in the automotive or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the automotive ecosystem, including OEMs, associations, government entities, and industry dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and pursue mutually beneficial partnership opportunities strategically.
- A robust network and established relationships within the automotive sector.
- Adept at cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.
- Skills to assess partnership potential and its alignment with business goals.
- Navigate complex regulations and influence industry developments effectively.
- A track record of leading successful sales teams through strategic vision.
- Dedication to exceptional customer service, enhancing brand reputation.
- Deep understanding of sales dynamics, market trends, and profit generation.
- Skill in driving alignment across departments for collective success.
