Commercial Support Team Lead

At Heliox we make Ultra-Fast Chargers to support the transition towards an Electric World. Working with some of the leading names in the Automotive industry we are powering the future of E-Mobility. Along with our Market Leading Hardware we are also creating Smart Energy Management Solutions (Charging as a Service) to provide the platform to manage your Energy needs at an Enterprise level.

Heliox has come a long way since our first landmark E-bus project in 2017, we now provide global Charging Solutions to a variety of large vehicles… even electric Ferries! Over the past two years Heliox has also created a ‘model city’ energy ecosystems around the world in cities including Den Bosch - Netherlands, Glasgow -Scotland and Montgomery County - Maryland (USA).

We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Support Team Lead join the team and if you have most of the background below we hope it’s you!

What will you be doing?

In your role as Commercial Support Team - Team lead, you are managing both the sales support team and the tender team. You will proactively support your team members in their tasks supporting all facets of sales and sales enablement. You are familiar with all the aspects of lead to order process and associated activities.

Together with your internal stakeholders and the global sales leadership team, you will be a key driver of our very ambitious revenue growth in the coming 3 years. You will be part of our Sales and Tender team and you will report to the Head of Business Excellence.

Your tasks:

General tasks

  • Define, implement and monitor Heliox' Commercial Support operations and processes.
  • Manage our Commercial Support Team whilst coaching best practice
  • Work with our Sales Engineers to ensure they work with our Tender Team and ensure great internal communication
  • Make a market-based contributions to the sales strategy development of Heliox.
  • Manage the sales processes, tenders, and collaborations.

​​​​​​​Operational tasks

  • Ensure that tender submissions and order processing activities are fulfilled by the CSTeam
  • Owner of the Lead to Order Process
  • Tender Committee Chair
  • Engage with the wider business to ensure sufficient handover and information transmission
  • Support in business reporting activities
  • Support in business enablement material and activities

Bid Submission Operations

  • Lead and coordinate all bid response activities for sales opportunities
  • Create and maintain a Bid Management Framework which formalizes guidelines, processes, governance, and approvals
  • Create a Market Leading Bid Team, that is capable of developing the bid plans, whilst manage resources and activities to achieve success
  • Lead bid reviews and meetings to provide bid management direction and engagement.

Sales Support Operations

  • Lead management administration and tender portal searches for all sales opportunities
  • Support the BDMs with all direct sales related queries and compilation of quotes
  • Manage all internal sales processing
  • Support the set-up of digital direct sales for stock items
  • Be the point of contact into supply Chain to ensure we have end to end visibility of our supply chain
  • Identify continuous improvements for sales processes, systems, and tools to build scalable ways of working to support the Sales department
  • Develop key business performance sales and operational dashboards for the Sales department

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position, within a high-tech organization;
  • Experience in Sales & commercial roles
  • Full proficiency of English (native or near native level) - Dutch (or another major European language) is a bonus!
