Your role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you play an important role in the continuous quality improvements by organizing product audits. You are responsible for improvement projects at process level and you manage customer complaints.
The role is divided into 3 task areas:
1. Quality management
- You drive, monitor and facilitate a positive, constructive environment of continuous improvement at R&D and our manufacturing partners and suppliers;
- You develop, implement, monitor and maintain (management) reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of the supplier management process and to advise on potential risks;
2. Audit/Compliance
- Organizing process and product audits, both internal and external;
- You determine appropriate actions to maintain our compliance system. You support the annual audit plans and use internal and external resources to realize the plan.
3. Complaint management
- An important part of this role is to establish an efficient complaints handling process so that we can adequately and timely resolve issues for our customers.
- Monthly complaint analysis regarding both customers and suppliers, including root cause analysis and action plans through 8D reporting.
You'll be part of a team with a CSR and Sustainability Manager, a Quality Assurance Engineer, Safety and Health Officer and you will report to the Director SHEQ, Safety-Health-Environment-Quality. You will be authorized to make Quality related decisions necessary to reach the targets of the improvement projects within the Quality management system.
Your profile
- Completed technical bachelor or master degree (in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics)
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a quality employee or quality engineer and preferably in a R&D and/or production environment
- 8D, 6S, ISO 9001, LEAN, Six sigma
- You master English language excellently
