Your role:

In this position, you will be responsible for all day-to-day finance operations within Heliox North America.

Position Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of accounting & reporting systems, ensure smooth running of day-to-day financial operations within the company
• Manage all day-to-day finance operations
• Ensure compliance with (group) accounting policies and regulatory/tax requirements
• Manage cash collections and plan creditor payments
• Support budget preparation, validation of business plans, and ad-hoc requests from the Finance Manager
• Perform complex accounting procedures
• Coordinate all activities related to month-end closing

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years professional experience, preferably demonstrated ability as a Financial Controller
• You have good understanding of US GAAP, financial accounting, management accounting and tax accounting
• You have advanced written and verbal communication skills
• You pay attention to details and can work accurately under pressure
• You hold a professional qualification (for instance, but not limited to, CPA) or are in the process of obtaining such a qualification (preferred)
• You are proficient in MS Office & ERP systems. NetSuite experience is preferred
• You have business insight and exercise sound judgement in daily decision making

• Operational excellence: Looks for continuous improvement of the project/process on behalf of the stakeholder, quality and satisfaction. Uses innovation to achieve added value in the process/project.
• Analytical thinking: Understanding a situation by breaking it apart into and organizing smaller pieces of information. Identifying and investigating patterns and causal relationships to estimate the feasibility and impact of decisions.
• Hands-on: able to implement accounting & reporting systems, set up procedures for smooth running of day to day financial operations. Sound project management skills able to meet multiple deadlines under pressure.
• You have a growth mindset and you demonstrate agility, good team spirit and communication skills. You respect and meet deadlines, the team can rely on you. You are self-driven, keen to take ownership and responsibility
