Regional Director Benelux – eMobility Charging
Reporting Line: Reports to Head of Sales Europe
Role summary
As Regional Director Benelux, you will lead Siemens eMobility Charging across the Benelux region. You will hold full end-to-end accountability for commercial results, market development, and operational excellence, including direct leadership of the Sales function and strategic oversight of Project House and Services through dedicated managers.
In this important, dynamic, and hands-on role, you will define and execute the regional strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving eMobility market. Leading Sales and driving new business are key pillars of this role.
You will serve as the primary interface for key customers, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders, positioning Siemens as the market leader in the Benelux.
Your leadership will deliver improved sales performance, high-quality project and service delivery, and increased efficiency of our distribution network. Improving processes and implementing Siemens ways of working are essential.
Key responsibilities
Business leadership and ownership
- End responsibility for the Benelux region, with a clear focus on achieving and exceeding ambitious growth and sales targets
- Define and execute the regional strategy, fully aligned with global eMobility priorities
- Drive commercial performance across the entire value chain, from sales and project execution to service and distribution
- Ensure strong transparency on performance, risks, and overall business outlook
Sales leadership, new business, and commercial excellence
- Directly lead and empower the Sales team to achieve ambitious targets and expand market share
- New business is a key pillar of this role; we are looking for a hunter-type regional lead. Being hands-on and actively driving sales and new business yourself is essential
- Strengthen and expand Siemens' market position within the Benelux eMobility ecosystem
- Build and nurture strategic customer and partner relationships at the highest level
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and successfully close large-scale opportunities
- Optimize pipeline development and forecasting processes for maximum effectiveness
- Report to all stakeholders in a highly professional and structured manner
Market development and distribution oversight
- Lead the development and effectiveness of the distribution network in the Benelux, ensuring optimal product availability and delivery
- Manage and guide the Director Project House and Distribution to ensure seamless integration of distribution strategies with project delivery; project excellence is a key component of this role
- Represent Siemens eMobility in strategic customer engagements and at leading industry forums
Customer and stakeholder management
- Act as the senior escalation point for critical customers and sensitive topics in the Benelux
- Cultivate long-term relationships with stakeholders in both the public and private sectors
- Collaborate closely with regional and European peers and stakeholders to maximize synergies
Team leadership and organizational development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, including direct responsibility for Sales, while providing strategic guidance to Project House and Service managers
- Foster a high-performance, accountable, and customer-centric culture
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure clear alignment on strategic priorities
- Align with relevant European stakeholders and functions to ensure smooth operations; a hands-on operational approach is essential for success in this role
- Guide the organization through periods of significant growth and operational challenges
Operational alignment and execution
- Ensure strong project execution and service delivery in close collaboration with respective managers
- Balance commercial growth with operational capabilities and customer satisfaction
- Identify improvement areas and continuously drive optimization initiatives
Qualifications and experience
- Master's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a commercial, technical, or business-related field
- Proven senior leadership experience (8+ years) in commercial and/or general management roles; sales management and new business experience are essential
- Strong track record in driving growth within infrastructure, energy, mobility, or related sectors
- Demonstrated experience in the eMobility or energy transition ecosystem is a significant advantage; experience in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and large accounts; experience in matrix organizations is a plus
- Solid understanding of business management, forecasting, budgeting, and scaling operations
- This role requires candidates who are willing to consistently go above and beyond expectations
