About the job Patient Care Advocate

Provide patient care support through outbound and inbound program for the
organization.

  • Handle inbound calls for scheduling appointments, processing refill
    requests, and coordinating medical records requests with the Medical
    Records division.
  • Manage urgent and routine patient messages, triaging stat situations for immediate team notification while routing non-urgent messages to
    Medical Assistants for follow-up.
  • Conduct outbound appointment confirmation calls, proactively fill last-
    minute scheduling gaps, and assist with locating patient medical records.
  • Perform insurance verification tasks by contacting insurers and patients to obtain missing information required prior to scheduled visits.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong empathy and customer service skills.
  • Healthcare support experience.
  • Ability to work and operate in client systems.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
