About the job Human Resources Officer / HR Manager (Cebu-Based, Hybrid)
Company Overview:
We are a fast-growing, Hong Kong-based company offering a full-service Revenue Management solution to hotels worldwide. As we expand our operations, we are building a strong team in Cebu, which includes Sales, Revenue Management, and Support functions. To ensure we continue to hire, engage, and retain top talent, we are now looking for an organized, proactive Human Resources professional to join our local leadership.
Position Summary:
As our HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Cebu office across all core HR functions - from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and compliance. You'll work closely with both local team leads and our international management to build a positive, high-performance culture as our office grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Coordinate and maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Support day-to-day HR operations including timekeeping, leave tracking, and basic payroll coordination
- Foster a positive work environment by organizing team activities, performance feedback cycles, and employee engagement programs
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices
- Serve as the point of contact for HR-related questions and employee support
- Assist with implementation of company-wide HR initiatives and tools
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or office administration
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and HR policies
- Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Based in Cebu or willing to relocate; remote work possible to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting hybrid or remote teams
- Background in hospitality, outsourcing, or tech companies
- Familiarity with HRIS or HR software tools
