From powerful wartime narratives at Changi Chapel and Museum and Reflections at Bukit Chandu, to festivals and vibrant placemaking initiatives like Singapore HeritageFest, Bras Basah.Bugis precinct activations, and the Singapore Night Festival — we play an important role in shaping how Singapore connects with its past, present and future.

We are also growing future audiences through signature childrens programming at Childrens Museum Singapore, and strengthening specialist capabilities such as Archaeology 101 workshops at ArCH Square, and developing immersive heritage experiences.

As Assistant Manager (Marketing & Communications), you will play a key role in amplifying these efforts. You will craft integrated campaigns that drive engagement and visitorship across our diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies across media engagement, digital, social and partnerships
  • Spearhead media relations, press launches and media engagement initiatives that elevate HeritageSGs profile
  • Conceptualise and implement creative campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and visitorship
  • Produce compelling content across social media, websites, EDMs and promotional materials
  • Manage social media strategy and content calendars to maintain a dynamic and consistent brand voice
  • Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, content creators, community partners and influencers
  • Collaborate with designers, agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful visuals and campaign assets
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Manage public enquiries and ensure consistent, thoughtful brand communications

  • A strong communicator with excellent writing and editing skills
  • Curious about Singapores heritage and passionate about storytelling
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, resourceful and solutions-oriented
  • Excited by emerging platforms, digital innovation and immersive experiences

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or programme support (experience in heritage, cultural or museum sectors is advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Fresh graduates with strong internship, portfolio, or relevant project experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms and website content management.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, CapCut or Loom is a plus
  • Experience in project management; familiarity with government procurement processes advantageous
  • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus
