JOB DESCRIPTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY

 

  • Research and develop content based on customer’s identified challenges and objectives.
  •  Be responsible for quality control over all delivered content.
  • Create grammatically clean long-form copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, calls-to-action, blog posts, etc.
  •  Write in multiple styles and for multiple formats as required by client style and prospect personas.
  • Perform content audits to analyze and assess existing content, improve SEO results, increase engagement and boost conversion rates.
  • Accountable for marketing communications writing and content marketing efforts to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

 

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of agency experience or in a similar role.
  •  Demonstrated interest in pursuing digital marketing, ie has taken certificates in areas such as Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Google Ads, Facebook Blueprints, etc
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or communications.
  • Strong presentation, communication, writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
  • Interest in learning and gaining mastery of SEO fundamentals.
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail both for line editing copy and consistency in style and tone across our content.
  • Show a relentless commitment to continuous learning.
  • Content or inbound marketing experience: using content to attract, educate, convert, and nurture prospective buyers.
  •  Self-motivated, driven, competitive.

PERSONAL NOTE

 

  • We are seeking a savvy wordsmith who will be the lead content marketing writer for our clients.
  • The position has a strong emphasis on the client persona, the buyers journey, the user experience and all aspects of the Inbound Methodology.
  • All content creation should be well researched, so our ideal candidate should have experience conducting interviews with clients/stakeholders, using third-party research, reports, industry content, etc.
  • Having knowledge of general marketing principles and experience with evolving marketing tactics such as SEO and CRO.
