Cloud Network Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY

 

Candidate is expected to work with the Cloud Architecture Team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the Bank. The Cloud Network Manager will plan, design, implement, support and maintain the Bank’s cloud network. The Cloud Network Manager will manage the cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines and in support of the Bank’s digital strategy.

 

·         Lead the implementation, configuration, maintenance and provide support of the cloud network

·         Provide administration, monitoring, documentation, security and integration of the network

·         Troubleshoot issues that may occur within the cloud network environment

·         Apply industry best practices and standard operation procedures when designing and implementing cloud network

·         Provide advice to cloud engineers/architects with regards to cloud platform setup and configuration i.e. network ports

 

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

·         Minimum 5 years working experience in technology field, with at least 3 years on cloud platforms and infrastructure and/or established network architectures

·         Minimum 5 years working experience in technology field, with at least 3 years of data center administration

·         Must have experience in public cloud offering on at least 2 of the well-known cloud service providers i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure or Alibaba

·         Good understanding of networking i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, firewalls, etc

·         Sound understanding of IT security and cloud security.

·         Should have at least Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering or another related field

·         Cloud Architect certification in either AWS, Azure or GCP will be an advantage
