Role Overview
This executive role functions as the senior operational leader for Finance within a highly complex, regulated, multi-stakeholder Global Business Services (GBS) environment. The position is accountable for the end-to-end service delivery, operational stability, and continuous transformation of core finance processes across multiple international countries, business units, and legal entities.
- Service Delivery & Operational Excellence: Lead the end-to-end execution of core global finance functions, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Master Data, Financial Controls, and Intercompany operations.
- Performance Management: Ensure consistent service performance across all metrics, directly managing SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction levels while serving as the senior escalation point for timely issue resolution.
- Financial Cycle Governance: Ensure the timely, accurate execution of all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across the global footprint.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance: Establish robust governance frameworks, maintaining absolute compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies while partnering with internal/external audits to remediate risks.
- Transformation & Transition Management: Drive continuous process standardization and automation using Lean, Six Sigma, and digital solutions (RPA, analytics); lead the disciplined execution, scoping, and knowledge transfer of new migrations into the GBS.
Key Requirements
- Strategic GBS Leadership: Proven track record acting as a senior operational leader within an enterprise-scale Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services hub.
- End-to-End Finance Expertise: Deep operational mastery over multi-functional transactional finance streams (P2P, O2C, R2R, and internal controls).
- Stakeholder & Business Partnership: Exceptional ability to partner closely with Global Process Owners, executive finance leadership, and external business entities to drive value beyond basic transactional processing.
- Methodological Rigor: Experience utilizing structured continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and scaling digital or automated workflow solutions.
- Data & Risk Governance: Strong data integrity mindset, with sharp acumen regarding segregation of duties and global regulatory requirements.
