Role Overview

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services to international legal entities within a Global Shared Service Center (SSC). The role focuses on managing financial records and ensuring compliance with international reporting standards and local legislation.

Financial Reporting: Maintain partial or full books for assigned entities in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.

Statement Preparation: Produce a full suite of reconciled financial performance statements, including supporting schedules and detailed analyses, within set deadlines.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local legislation and internal group requirements.

Process Optimization: Support projects aimed at the standardization and optimization of accounting processes within the SSC.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Interact with local business partners and participate in management meetings to present financial ideas and solutions.

Key Requirements

Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, General Business, or a related field.

Reporting Expertise: Practical experience applying in-depth accounting knowledge with a strong focus on IFRS reporting in a global business setting.

SSC/BPO Experience: Previous experience holding full responsibility for accounting services within a Shared Service Center (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), or an auditing firm.

Language Proficiency: Very good command of English is required. 

Systems & Controls: Understanding of internal control catalogs and experience using accounting software to maintain financial accuracy.
