About the job Regional Data Governor

Role Overview

We are looking for a Regional Data Governor to strengthen Data Governance and Data Quality. This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, enterprise data and operational delivery.

You will ensure that Core Data Models are properly validated and approved across countries and programmes, while helping the organisation address recurring Data Quality issues at their source.

Working closely with business leaders, Data Owners, SMEs, country teams and technology stakeholders, you will turn governance principles into practical decisions, controls and measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional validation, alignment and formal sign-off of Core Data Models across countries, programmes and global stakeholders.
  • Drive Data Quality improvements by defining rules, controls, KPIs and root-cause remediation actions.
  • Facilitate decision-making across Data Owners, SMEs, process owners and technology teams, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
  • Embed Data Governance and Data Quality requirements into programme milestones, identifying risks early and preventing late implementation rework.
  • Develop reusable governance practices, templates and ways of working that enable consistent adoption across Continental Europe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Enterprise Data Management or large-scale business/data transformation.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple data domains and translate data issues into ownership, controls, KPIs and practical remediation actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and influencing skills within complex international and cross-functional environments.
