About the job Group Accounting Manager
Role Overview
The Group Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing accounting-related operational processes, documentation management, information workflows and lead initiatives related to digital transformation across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting
Prepare consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
Manage the group month-end close process across multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee Intercompany Accounting & Reconciliations
Manage intercompany transactions, loans, cross-charges, and eliminations.
Ensure accurate reconciliation of all intercompany balances across group entities.
- Ensure Group Tax Compliance & Audit Readiness
Coordinate tax compliance and statutory reporting across all jurisdictions.
Act as the main contact for external auditors and oversee audit processes.
- Develop and Optimize Financial Processes
Design and improve group accounting processes, controls, workflows, and financial systems.
Lead ERP and financial systems optimization initiatives.
- Lead AR/AP Governance and Team Oversight
Oversee group-level AR/AP policies, aging analysis, vendor governance, and escalation management.
Supervise and support the Finance Administrator, including performance management and coaching.
Required Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Information Management, or related field.
- Fluent in English
- Experience in accounting operations, financial administration, document management, or process coordination roles.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with document management systems, ERP platforms, and digital workflow tools.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and financial documentation practices.
- Familiarity with process improvement and operational optimization methodologies.
- Interest or experience in digital transformation and AI-driven operational tools is considered an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and efficient manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration platforms.
