Teamcenter Functional Consultant

Role Overview

You will be working at the intersection of engineering, business processes and technology, you will translate stakeholder requirements into scalable Teamcenter configurations. You will help improve the way product data, engineering structures, approvals, releases and product changes are managed throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Gather business and engineering requirements and translate them into functional Teamcenter solutions.
• Configure Teamcenter data-model elements through BMIDE, including object types, properties, naming rules, forms and classifications.
• Design and maintain workflows, approval routes, lifecycle states and release processes.
• Configure BOM structures, product-data rules and ECR/ECO change-management processes.
• Build searches and reports, support testing and recommend improvements to PLM processes and platform usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Min 7 years experience in similar roles
• Hands-on experience configuring Siemens Teamcenter using BMIDE.
• Strong knowledge of PLM, workflows, lifecycle management, BOM structures and engineering change processes.
• Ability to gather complex business requirements and convert them into clear, maintainable platform configurations.
