Role Overview

As a Finance Manager within our centralized European hub, you will lead a dedicated accounting team providing end-to-end financial services for multiple international legal entities. This position is a blend of high-level oversight and hands-on transformation; you will be the primary point of contact for regional business partners while simultaneously steering the growth of our Shared Service Center (SSC).

  • Operational Control: You are responsible for the integrity of sub-ledgers, general ledgers, and the production of full tax and financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Strategic Growth: You will play a critical role in the "ramp-up" phase of our regional hub, driving recruitment, standardizing global workflows, and managing the migration of financial functions from local markets.
  • Governance: You will ensure total compliance with internal control catalogs and regional financial legislation, maintaining audit-ready books at all times.
  • Reporting & Advisory: You will present reconciled performance statements and supporting schedules to senior management, offering data-driven commentary to influence business decisions.

Key Requirements

  • Professional Background: A minimum of 5 years in a global accounting environment with a deep mastery of IFRS reporting. You should hold a Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting (or an Associate degree paired with 7+ years of relevant experience).
  • Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience managing or leading teams within a Shared Service (SSC) or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) framework.
  • Change Management Skills: A documented track record of successfully driving accounting migration projects and process optimization initiatives.
