Our Client:
Mexico City-based important fintech startup is looking a Head of Sales, who will lead the company's sales efforts and be responsible for designing and executing effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
-Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the Mexican market, focusing on new account acquisition. Lead, motivate, and train a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing the necessary support to ensure success.
-Sales Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing complex deals. Actively participate in client negotiations, closing new accounts, and leading by example.
-Business Expansion: Source, qualify, and sign new customers to achieve quarterly goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners, exploring new opportunities and alliances.
-Collaboration and Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional departments like Product, Operations, and Tech to align efforts with company goals. Develop and optimize processes, tools, and workflows to enhance team effectiveness.
-Reporting and Metrics: Define and monitor the sales team's KPIs to ensure the fulfillment of revenue goals. Participate in the design of the sales team's compensation plan.
Requirements:
-A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in commercial leadership roles (Head of Sales, Sales Manager), with a successful track record leading and managing sales teams.
-Experience in B2B SaaS sales and in the services sector.
-Strong knowledge of the Mexican market, with a proven track record of selling solutions to Enterprise and SMB clients.
-Ability to work both strategically and operationally, leading teams while also generating individual sales.
-Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills to build long-lasting relationships.
-Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
-Bachelor's degree. An MBA or equivalent is desirable.
