Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deck Engineering Coordinator to join our team.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all deck engineering activities for projects in the MENA and Europe regions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement deck engineering strategies and plans.
  • Review and approve deck engineering designs and drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that deck engineering work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential issues or delays, and work with project teams to develop solutions.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of deck engineering subcontractors and consultants.
  • Ensure that all deck engineering work is completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and updates to senior management and clients.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices in deck engineering.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in deck engineering, preferably in the MENA and Europe regions.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
  • Strong understanding of deck engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with project management and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
