MEP and Tunnel Ventilation System (TVS) Expert

Job Title: MEP & TVS Expert Stations and Tunnel (High-Speed Rail Project)

We are looking for a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Tunnel Ventilation System (TVS) Expert to support the design, coordination, and implementation of MEP and ventilation systems within stations and tunnels for a high-speed rail project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale rail or metro infrastructure, particularly in underground environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design review and integration of MEP and tunnel ventilation systems
• Ensure compliance with international codes, safety standards, and project specifications
• Coordinate closely with civil, architectural, and fire life safety teams
• Supervise interface management across station systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, etc.)
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities for TVS and MEP systems
• Provide expert input during procurement, contractor management, and site inspections

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP and tunnel ventilation design and execution
• Proven track record in railway or metro projects, including underground station environments
• Knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE, BS, and relevant railway ventilation/fire safety standards
• Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
