About the job Public Realm/ Landscape Manager
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design review and site implementation of all landscape and public realm elements including planting, irrigation, grading, street furniture, hardscaping, and public open space features.
- Manage and coordinate multiple landscape design and construction packages, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across the project's phases.
- Liaise closely with the master planning and infrastructure teams to ensure public realm works are fully integrated within the overall project vision.
- Review design submissions, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, local codes, and sustainability goals.
- Provide regular technical input and advice to the Design Manager / Project Manager, ensuring best practices in landscape and public realm execution.
- Monitor construction progress and conduct site inspections, ensuring quality standards and design intent are maintained.
- Support the preparation and validation of project budgets and cost estimates related to public realm and landscape works.
- Coordinate permitting activities and interface with local authorities where required.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, value engineering reviews, and change management processes.
- Support the development of landscape-related policies, procedures, and design guidelines that align with the overall community development goals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate progress reports, issue logs, and related documentation
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and public realm management, preferably within large-scale residential or community development projects.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, irrigation systems, and environmental design principles.
- Solid understanding of local KSA regulations, zoning codes, and authority approval processes related to landscape/public realm works.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in English.
- Skills in organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling personal workflow.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities across design and construction phases.
