Job Description:
At HIPP, the Project Leader is responsible for providing oversight for design projects. The PL oversees the proposal stage of a project through its successful completion.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsibilities and tasks focus on project delivery and include but are not limited to:
- Project Management: Responsible for Scope, Schedule, and Budget throughout the full lifecycle of the project.
- Engineering Leadership: Facilitates the resolution of issues by escalating concerns to appropriate subject matter experts while also participating in the problem-solving efforts.
- Progress Tracking: Tracks the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets and schedule.
- Client Relations and Stakeholder Management: Acts as the primary contact for key stakeholders on assigned projects. Engages with clients throughout all project phases.
- Proposal Development: Applies client relation skills to engage clients and supports the proposal stage of business development with new and existing clients. Key contact for understanding client needs and design capabilities of staff.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- P.E. certification preferred
- 8+ years of design firm experience; cGMP design experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Project, CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or related software
