About the job Part-time CFP Financial Planner (remote)

We specialize in delivering comprehensive, integrated financial planning tailored to the unique needs of doctors. As a growing firm, we are passionate about helping physicians align their finances with their goals.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our lead financial planner has over 10 years of experience and is seeking a part-time associate to provide dedicated planning support. This is a remote, non-sales position with flexible hours (ideally aligned to Pacific Time). The role does not require client-facing time but could include it on occasion. The work environment is fast paced, so you must be comfortable prioritizing, shifting tasks quickly, and delivering high-quality work under time pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meeting and Plan Preparation Organize, interpret, and input client documents into eMoney, or summarize them for planners.
Scenarios and Modeling Work - Use eMoney and Excel to build models and run financial scenarios.
Draft Customized Client Deliverables After the lead planner completes a client presentation, review and analyze the clients financial data to create a personalized deliverable. Use company templates as a starting point, but tailor recommendations and planning insights to the clients specific goals and circumstances. Ensure all deliverables are professional, actionable, and consistent with firm standards. The lead planner will provide final review and oversight.
Client and Team Support Respond to client inquiries via email/phone and support advisors with plan-related questions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Direct experience with eMoney is required.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to work consistently each week in blocks of focused time.
- Preference for candidates who can work during Pacific Standard Time.
- CFP® certification or actively pursuing CFP® designation.
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time, fully remote role estimated at 20-25 hours per week.
Compensation will be hourly to start commensurate with experience and credentials, with the possibility of moving to a fixed retainer arrangement as the role develops.
