About the job Financial Advisor (CFP®) – Physician Households (Remote)
We're looking for an early-career CFP® professional who enjoys working directly with clients, building long-term relationships, and becoming a trusted advisor to physician households. You'll serve as the primary advisor for your clients while expanding your expertise beyond traditional financial advising into the areas that matter most to physicians.
We're a fully remote firm serving physician households with integrated financial planning, investment management, tax, legal, insurance, and student loan guidance. You'll work alongside financial planners, advisors, a CPA, an attorney, and client service associates to deliver comprehensive financial guidance.
What You'll Do
- Lead client meetings, provide thoughtful financial guidance, and build long-term relationships based on trust.
- Develop the expertise to independently lead Student Loan Management meetings through structured training and mentorship.
- Develop expertise in Disability Insurance and confidently guide clients through their options based on Hippocratic methods developed over 10 years.
- Collaborate with planners and subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive advice.
What Makes This Role Different
This role is centered on advising clients, not administrative work. Meetings are prepared for you, follow-up communication is handled with your input, and you'll have the support you need to focus on meaningful client conversations.
You'll receive mentorship from experienced advisors, including our founder, and learn our approach to Student Loan Planning and Disability Insurance. We don't expect you to arrive as an expert—we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping clients make informed financial decisions.
Success in this role comes from earning clients' trust and providing thoughtful financial guidance—not from selling products or performing extensive financial analysis.
As your career grows, you'll have opportunities to expand your responsibilities based on both your interests and the evolving needs of the firm. Whether that's client advising, business development, or helping improve our processes and services, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
We're Looking for Someone Who
- Holds an active CFP® certification.
- Has 1–4 years of financial planning experience.
- Enjoys building trusted relationships and helping clients make informed financial decisions.
- Learns quickly and is excited to develop expertise in new planning disciplines.
- Communicates complex financial concepts clearly and confidently.
Benefits
- Fully remote position.
- 401(k) after one year, plus profit sharing.
