Fullstack PHP+Vue.js (Georgia)

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Fullstack Developer with deep expertise in the PHP/Laravel and Vue.js ecosystem to take ownership of the technical health and evolution of a long-term project. A key priority is leading the platform's lifecycle management, specifically upgrading PHP and Laravel versions to the latest releases.

LOCATION: GEORGIA (Tbilisi office or remotely)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and evolve a dedicated web application using the Laravel framework and Vue.js components.
• Lead the modernization of the project by executing version upgrades for PHP and Laravel core, refactoring legacy code, and implementing modern framework patterns.
• Optimize application performance, focusing on database query optimization (Eloquent) and frontend rendering efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack to ensure the projects stability and high availability in production.
• Manage CI/CD practices and automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest) to ensure a reliable deployment process (GitHub Actions will be a plus).

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer, with a strong background in long-term project support.
• Expert-level knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework (including Service Providers, Middleware, and Eloquent).
• Experience in migrating and upgrading Laravel applications and managing PHP environment transitions.
• Expertise in Vue.js with knowledge of the Composition API, reactivity, and lifecycle hooks.
• Experience with Pinia or Vuex for managing global application state.
• Proficiency with modern frontend tooling, specifically Vite, Webpack, or Laravel Mix.
• Solid understanding of Database Management, including relational data modeling (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis).
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with AI-driven development: Active use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to enhance the project.
• Knowledge of Laravel ecosystem tools such as Horizon, Pulse, Nova, or Octane.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments (Laravel Sail).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or basic cloud DevOps skills.
• Experience of deploying applications to Kubernetes (K8s).
