1. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT?
Our company is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This privacy notice explains the way we collect and use personal information about you during your employment application process.
This privacy notice applies to all job applicants.
HiQo Solutions has multiple offices and locations in the USA, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Poland. The relevant HiQo Solutions office based in the country of the role for which you are applying is the data controller of your personal data for data protection purposes. Full details of the relevant business entities are provided below in this notice. For example, if you apply for a position/role in Poland, HiQo Solutions Poland entity is the data controller. The privacy policy and laws of relevant jurisdiction apply to the HiQo Solutions entity processing your personal data as the data controller.
HiQo Solutions is required to notify you of the information contained in this privacy notice under data protection legislation, where applicable.
THIS PRIVACY NOTICE DOES NOT IMPLY IN ANY WAY ANY CONTRACT FOR SERVICES OR ANY CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT OR ANY OTHER AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND HIQO SOLUTIONS. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THIS PRIVACY NOTICE SO THAT YOU ARE FULLY AWARE OF HOW AND WHY WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA.

3. HOW DOES HIQO SOLUTIONS COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
3.1 HiQo Solutions collects your personal data directly from you (from CV, interviews, etc.).
3.2 In some cases, HiQo Solutions also collects your personal data from third parties – e.g., recruitment agencies.
4. WHO WILL WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
4.1 We share your personal data with the following third parties:
- 4.1.1 HiQo Solutions Company – for administrative and recruitment purposes;
- 4.1.2 Entities providing services to HiQo Solutions (if and when requested by such vendors);
- 4.1.3 State and enforcement authorities (e.g., tax authorities, social security or similar authorities) – for the purposes of fulfilling HiQo Solutions’s legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We may need to disclose all or any part of your personal information if and when it is required to do so by law of relevant jurisdiction(s), or pursuant to a request from a governmental or regulatory entity/body, or if there is another lawful purpose for sharing your personal data.
5. DOES HIQO SOLUTIONS TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA?
5.1 We may transfer your personal data to other entities of HiQo Solutions, some of which are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Please note that some jurisdictions do not provide the same level of privacy protection as is currently provided in the European Union (USA, Georgia, and Kazakhstan). These transfers, however, are based on appropriate safeguards, details of which you may request from us.
6. HOW LONG WILL HIQO SOLUTIONS KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
6.1 We will keep your personal data for the duration of the recruitment process and, if you agree, for a period of 3 years after its completion for the purpose of future recruitments.
7. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE OVER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
7.1 You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to lodge a complaint | You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority with government offices regulating Personal Data Protection when in your opinion HiQo Solutions infringes your rights concerning your personal data. Nonetheless, we will appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns directly before you approach the authority. If you are happy to do so, please contact us in the first instance. |
8. IS PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA STATUTORY OR CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENT?
8.1 HiQo Solutions has the right to request the following personal data from you:
- 8.1.1 first name (names) and surname;
- 8.1.2 date of birth;
- 8.1.3 contact details provided by you, including emergency contacts, if and when required;
- 8.1.4 education details, including particulars of school or universities attended and degrees;
- 8.1.5 professional qualifications; and
- 8.1.6 employment history.
Providing personal data within the scope set out above is necessary to conduct the recruitment process and to establish the employment relationship. It is not possible to conduct the recruitment process or establish the employment relationship without processing certain personal data in the scope specified above.
8.2 HiQo Solutions may also request other personal data, if the obligation to provide those results from separate provisions of law, or if it is otherwise allowed.
