About the job Social Media Coordinator / Executive Assistant
We are seeking an organized, self-directed individual to join as a part-time Social Media Coordinator and Executive Assistant. This role is remote and requires 15-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in social media content creation and management, while also providing crucial administrative support.
Role Details
Job Title: Social Media Coordinator / Executive Assistant (Part-Time)
Time Commitment: 15-20 hours per week (approximately 10-14 hours Social Media, 4-6 hours Executive Assistant)
Schedule: Must be available to start at 12 PM PST
Compensation: $400-$500/month
Start Date Target: Mid to late April 2026
Key Responsibilities
This role is split into two primary functions: Social Media Coordination (approx. 70%) and Executive Assistant support (approx. 30%). The coordinator will support 3 clients, 2 of which are potential clients.
Social Media Coordination (Primary)
Content Management & Scheduling: Propose and post approved monthly content schedules across Instagram (IG), X (Twitter), Discord, and TikTok.
Community Engagement: Actively engage in comments and replies across all platforms. Manage replies to celebrity and large accounts after receiving client approval.
- Content Creation:
Perform raw and quick video edits using CapCut to create compelling Reels and TikToks.
Create basic social media assets as needed using Canva Pro.
Trend Monitoring: Stay current with social media trends across all platforms and propose new content styles and formats that align with client profiles.
- Content Creator Relations:
Research creators for client projects and identify potential partnerships based on brand and audience fit.
Coordinate with approved creators on project deliverables, communicating timelines, requirements, and expectations.
Executive Assistant (Secondary)
Administrative Organization: Track incoming and outgoing invoices and payments. Keep spreadsheets and trackers up to date, file expenses, schedule meetings, and generate necessary reports.
Project Coordination: Provide date reminders for deadlines and deliverables. Check in with other coordinators on project status, ensure smooth project flow, and proactively flag any issues.
Inbox Management: Monitor inboxes to ensure no emails are missed. Respond to routine emails on behalf of Leann, following established guidelines.
Team Support: Support the team by checking in on tasks and deliverables from other coordinators, sending reminders, helping to troubleshoot issues, and coordinating needs for content creators.
Required Tools & Qualifications
Must-Have (Kill Filters)
Experience & Portfolio: Provide a portfolio or examples of social media content created.
Platform Management: Experience managing content on at least 2 of the 4 key platforms: IG, X (Twitter), TikTok, or Discord.
Creative Skills: Proficiency with Canva (Canva Pro) and video editing capability for Reels/TikTok format using CapCut.
General Skills: Strong written English, and must be organized and self-directed for a part-time remote role.
Strong Plus (Preferred Qualifications)
Administrative: Experience with inbox management, email triage, invoice/payment tracking, scheduling, and calendar management.
Tools: Proficiency with Google Sheets and familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., HeyOrca, Later, Buffer).
Creator Relations: Prior experience coordinating with content creators or influencers.
Community: Experience with Discord community management.
