About the job Account Manager
We are seeking a results-driven and client-focused Account Manager with prior experience in a marketing agency, consulting firm, or outsourcing agency. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing client relationships, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring successful project execution while identifying growth opportunities within client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Understand client needs, industry challenges, and strategic goals to provide tailored solutions.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, creative, tech, operations) to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Prepare project timelines, briefs, proposals, presentations, and reports.
Monitor and track project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Assist in onboarding new clients and setting the foundation for successful collaboration.
Handle conflict resolution and proactively manage expectations.
Stay up to date on market trends, industry developments, and agency best practices.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in an account management or client services role within a marketing agency, consulting firm, BPO, or outsourcing company.
Strong understanding of agency workflows, service delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
Proficiency in tools like Asana, Trello, HubSpot, Slack, or similar platforms is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in digital marketing, creative services, or business development is a plus.
Experience managing remote or international clients/teams.
Demonstrated success in growing client accounts and improving retention.
