Overview

We are looking for Architectural Drawing Production Lead who can take conceptual designs and translate them into complete technical drawing sets. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in hospitality or large commercial projects, excellent AutoCAD skills, working knowledge of Revit, and a keen eye for detail. This role is production- and coordination-focused not design and plays a key part in ensuring drawing quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and assemble detailed drawing sets (DD/CD phases) based on design intent.

  • Coordinate AutoCAD drawings with consultant backgrounds in Revit.

  • Review, organize, and integrate updated Revit files into production packages.

  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) across drawing deliverables.

  • Interpret renders, sketches, and design intent into clear construction documents.

  • Apply relevant building codes and ADA standards to project documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with lead designers, senior designers, and production staff.

  • Participate in project coordination, reviews, and redline revisions.

  • Manage multiple project files while maintaining consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant production experience (preferably hospitality/commercial projects).

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Basic to intermediate Revit experience ability to open, export, and manipulate models.

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam; Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and building codes.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Flexible and proactive able to handle shifting project priorities.

  • Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Projects in hospitality, restaurants, spas, resorts, or casinos.

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary drawings and integrating consultant updates.

  • Previous exposure to US or Canadian codes and project standards (a plus, not required).
