Medical Scribe (Remote)

Job Summary

As a Remote Medical Scribe, you will play a key role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and managing medical records. Your expertise in medical terminology, transcription, and electronic health record (EHR) systems will ensure precise and timely documentation. Your knowledge of anatomy and physiology will further enhance the quality of medical documentation. You will report directly to healthcare providers, facilitate communication, and contribute to improved patient care.

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce medical reports, records, and correspondence for physicians, including patient information, administrative materials (such as statistics and patient data), and more.
  • Review and edit transcriptions for spelling, grammar, clarity, and proper medical terminology.
  • Maintain medical files and databases for various records, such as medical histories.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a medical transcriber or in a similar role.
  • Ability to transcribe accurately and maintain a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology.
  • High attention to detail to ensure patient care is not compromised.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to legal requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Medical Transcription Experience: 2 years (Required)
  • Languages: Spanish (Required) & English (Required)
