Job Description: Rollout Manager (Telecom Installation 4G, Ukraine)

Location: Ukraine (Kyiv/Lviv focused)

Project Type: Freelance / Contract

Duration: June September 2025 (Extension possible)

Team Scope: ~10 installation teams, ~30 field staff

Reporting to: Regional Program Director / Client Representative

Role Summary

The Rollout Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of 4G site upgrades and installations across Ukraine, managing technical field operations, team coordination, client interfacing (Huawei and end-client), and ensuring all sites are completed, accepted, and documented on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation activities at ~3000 4G sites
• Manage and schedule ~10 installation teams across two major regions
• Ensure full compliance with project scope including:
  • Site surveys
  • RRU/antenna/BBU installations
  • Dismantling legacy equipment
  • Grounding, cabling, site cleanup
  • Acceptance documentation (photo reports, ISDP, TSSR, PAT)
• Act as primary liaison with Huawei PMs, technical leads, and client stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics: material readiness and warehouse
• Track progress in real time using Excel, trackers, and Huaweis ISDP portal
• Enforce H&S compliance; lead daily check-ins and issue escalation
• Maintain quality assurance for installation standards and documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecom rollout/project management
• Strong experience with Huawei RAN equipment (BBU3900, DBS3900, RRU series)
• Knowledge of acceptance process and ISDP tool mandatory
• Good written English, fluent in Ukrainian/Russian is preferred but not essential
• Strong people management, task prioritization, and reporting skills
• Familiarity with H&S requirements, PPE, and site safety audits
