About the job Sales Team Leader
As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of sales representatives to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives. You will lead by example, provide coaching and mentorship, and implement strategies to maximize the team's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team. Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to improve results.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and goals that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Sales Training: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members. Ensure the team is well-versed in product/service offerings and sales techniques.
- Sales Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the sales process, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, as needed, to support the sales efforts and resolve any escalated issues.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts. Present findings to the Sales Manager and senior management to provide insights and recommendations.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring they are integrated into the team effectively.
- Sales Culture: Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture within the team, promoting teamwork, motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales leadership or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing sales environment.
