The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities, ensuring project timelines are met, and liaising between teams , consultant and stakeholder to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and construction.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support building handing over by local authorities & clients
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support as needed.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise field activities when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc. depending on industry).
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role (entry-level acceptable with internships/co-op experience).
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and engineering practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [specific industry, e.g., construction, mechanical, electrical , etc.].
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
