Job Overview:
As the Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's manufacturing processes. You will lead a team of process engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines. Your main objective will be to optimize our manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Lead a team of process engineers and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as: production, quality control, supply chain, etc., to identify and resolve process-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flowcharts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in process engineering and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all process engineering activities.
Qualifications:
- At least Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering while 3+ years experience in people management; preferably in the smart technology industry.
- Proven experience in leading process improvement projects and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership; fluent communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia in order to have smooth conversation with both internal local team and China support team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the smart technology industry is preferred.
Salary Package: RM12000 - RM16000
